Another big crowd of speedy geese. Met at little Kaleen shops, back of houses, north Lyneham Ridge, oconnor ridge then onto bruce ridge where some of us turned around for a shorter course. We waited quite a while here for someone who had lost the route. It was amusing to listen to a phone conversation: Are you going up or down? Are you on a FT? I'm surprised she found us in the end. We had another long wait near the delightful north lyneham pond. I realise I hardly know nth lyneham ridge and look forward to coming back now that I've found the good place to cross gindy drive. Enjoyed running with BeerBron, funny Dave, Dave the triathlete and Susan (who was new i think).

Ran almost the entire way taking a few metres walk occasionally to rest the body. High hammies were hurty by the end so I did a good strength stability stretch session in the arvo, which I hope has helped hammies. The long rests waiting for others helped a lot. Totally stuffed by the last 2k and kept Bron in sight just enough not to lose the cafe location. Great breakfast vibe with such a big table of us. 2 pieces of toast with vegemite went down a treat, dwarfed by TriDaves ENORMous triathlete big breakfast with everything. i think there were at least 4 eggs in the scramble.

Street fitness and getting out of bed early continues. R, F and I this morning. Feeling a bit like a habit, shame about the sleeping in on the days in between.

Our street Couch to 5k venture gets a new member. Fiona and I did the session WITHOUT APP!! Amazingly this was possible. Except that the times are a bit of a guess.

Note

Catastrophic sleep in, through alarm and all other triggers. 10:38am and wasn't sure what day it was. Checked 3 clocks before accepting the time. The worst was missing yoga and accompanying bike ride completely. Drove to rehearsal in evening so nothing more than some theatre physicality. Am directing the next show so anxiety was high, especially in absence of exercise and meditation.

Couch to 5k with Robyn week 2. she's still at it; good work. For me, the advantage is getting up early, getting straight out the door and doing ANYthing. Good work me.
