Slight pain in R foot to decided not to parkrun in spite of nudge from Brad. Sleeping in was rather enjoyable followed by a Ym morning with chant that is never long enough.
Took a surprise delivery of blackberries and my long lost sunglasses yay!

Couch with Fi on the southwell ovals, done on only 1 cup of tea again. Another good session 3 x 90 sec, 4 x 3mins. There is a guy we see every time who practises his soccer skills alone at the same time; very committed. I finished with a fast run across oval to finish. I could feel yesterday's hill sprints in legs so took a while to loosen up.

Top session, felt fantastic. With Imo and Dustydog on majura. Warmed up past 2 dams then scoped out a bit of single track heading up to a T junction. Just the right amount of steepness, rockiness, and twists and turns. Did the first slower and decided the start place was wrong. Then did 5 more short hills gradually faster until we had to hang onto a tree around the sharpest bend just to stay on the track. How cool to be able to sprint up a hills. Didn't even time the rests just walked and jogged down when felt right (but probably a minute between each). Finished session while still strong.
38 (longer), 35 (dusty joined in and tangled herself under my feet),
31, 30, 29, 28.

Ambled home the same way, stopping for a dam swim (dusty) on way. Walked the last part. Picked up a rocket plant at Imo's after some garden admiring and bean eating.

Couch run with Fiona. Mist on the ovals; a thin layer, maybe a metre. I couldn't stop noticing and admiring and commenting. Fi said I should get up early more often, she sees it all the time. In my defense there has been plenty of early running just never on grassy expanses. Felt lovely today. Yoga class has completely fixed the hammy niggles. Why don't I just do more yoga at home over the summer I'll never know. 90, 90, 120, 120, 90, 90.

Street couch group run with Robyn and Fiona. Our longest interval is now 3 minutes and F is struggling a bit so will do less tomorrow. I finished with a fast stride across oval.
I'm gradually getting used to getting up in the 6's, just need to make it a daily habit and i'll be comfortable. Lovely cool early morning and managed on only 1 cup of tea again, yay!
