Walk up and down blackie via quarry paths. Tested a bit of flat running which didn't feel great but down hill running was fine so did a bit on way down. Good to get some exercise after being distracted by the theatre festival. Too many chips and bbq shapes and lollies and late nights but so worth it. The air was smoky today so there must be a burn somewhere.
Stopped in a crumins on way there and entertained baby Mila a bit. Lost my commitment to black mtn but Crumin insisted I should go.

Did 3 x 1 minute hills from below bottom stair, up bitumen path to the Two Species Tree. The first 2 I walked with big strides pushing myself, the 3rd I experimented with running all the way and knocked off 10 seconds. this is the steepest part so I am surprised I can actually run. Should do more hill training and do more intervals. HR felt like it went way up but no sick feeling at all, maybe because I hadn't eaten anything yet since night before.
