to rehearsals and to roast lamb dinner with the Crumins. Successful and enjoyable day with a LOT of chocolate, sugar, cake and icecream for a person like me. Felt a little ill by end of it all.

Hike on black mtn with Jass Inter, eventually making a loop all way around, stopping to look at interesting things including a fascinating large mud nest tube on the path for a black spider (we think, it briefly appeared to defend hole. Or could have been a wasp). Good to do on a tired legs day after some good running this week where I feel am getting to be a not injured runner.

Absolutely totally utterly perfectly enjoyable run this morning, and body felt fast and strong. oh yeah! Imo run on Ridge with Dustydog. Our current usual loop: walked for 6, ran easy, up single track (logrun) harder to fire trail. Stopped for a bit then did drills up and down firetrail (felt great!). Ran good pace for next single track then slow lope on top FT towards car. We were stopped at bike track crossing by the best display and concert of Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, so close and loud sitting above us, then slow beating flight action.
Morning was cool and shaded which is a relief after recent running and walking efforts. I'd had a really good sleep and hadn't eaten since a very early 5.30pm dinner the night before so that added to the feeling good and energetic.

commutes. Taught my first Lbulb drop in class and who should turn up but mr Burn, top dog of impro in ACT. To do my class. Mentally challenging and anxiety inducing? Yes. But I decided better just do what I planned and treat him the same, make sure he gets as much out of it as his students (who peopled the class). Very physical and busy and possibly I was nearly too demanding - but since this is the opposite of their normal class where there is much more thinking, sitting and stillness they embrace the change.

Too hot!! but ok apart from that. Had to use alternative course through the bot gardens due to track works and I did go the wrong way and had to back track for a short detour. Did more running than I used to on the big climb and felt surprisingly good for a warm day. I don't sweat much at all so I'm never going to be fast in the warm. Mr BannedaSelfie was there, haven't seen him for so long. He's still stopping to take photos ON THE WAY UP!!! He took one of me as I was coming down.
Passed another man on way down who said hello and handed me a small card. Now I know how to look after my prostate. Well that was a surprise!

My sunscreen is giving me irritated skin now so I grabbed a different one from cupboard. Unfortunately it is practically a zinc cream - very very white. Got quite a surprise when I got home afterwards and looked in the mirror. I must have scared people with my completely white face. On the bright side, it did not irritate my skin at all

Ridge with Imo and Dusty. Walked for 5 mins, easy run, did some drills, more easy running. Felt great to be running after a distracted period last week. Body doing ok.
