After a morning of short commutes, gardening and drinking tea with the neighbours in delightful warm sunshine, I rode in to Smiths for final performance of The Four Horsemen and Hey Sarah! Such a great production to be a part of, enjoyable and challenging. Always love hanging out with all my acting buddies too, and meeting some new ones.

3 Black mountains, very serene by end of 3rd, listening to the little bells of the wrens, the crackling sounds of a rosella getting into eucalyptus nuts, the rustle of choughs picking up leaves. Saw 2 roos near pump house at end, they thought I was on the hill a bit late I think.
Good to clear the head and metabolism after Nigels 2 plays opened last night, especially with the professional choc mint slice eating that an actor has to do...

2 Black mountains. Left bike at Quarrygate, up past pump house, down via other side of quarry. During second run down I turned off onto Circum and did some more level running. Felt good enough running, then jogged down to bike.
A car pulled up beside me when I was locking up my bike and I was all prepared to tell them You are not allowed to drive up here. But it was a bearded scientist about to go into quarry and he was wondering what i was up to. Actually he asked if I needed help. I guess my suspicious look was mis-interpreted.
Great to do 2 blackies!
