Finished removing kikuyu grass and digging over the new ground for Juki's next vegie bed. Made sure not to spend too long bent over with mattock without standing up. Hard work

ugh peak hour is horrible, waiting for great queues of cars and not confident they would see me if I do anything but cross at lights and stay on paths

A blackie ramble with Amy. Ended up doing too much in the heat including chatting for ages afterwards and getting a bit face-sun-burnt. Snake count: 2 browns in one walk. I nearly stepping on the first one, too late to stop for it so sort of stepped over with my momentum, alerting Amy to snake! Lucky she's not afeared of snakes either so we watched it slither behind a boulder, enter a crack. Then, delightfully, peek at us from a small hole on other side of rock.

Very fast walking with Crmn. I can't actually keep up with her on hills. Good to be out. Tour of suburb and Ridge, ending at Crmns for tea and chat.
