Running 31:59 [3] 4.0 mi (8:00 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 20

Medium paced run. Just wanted to go out and stretch my legs before the weekend. Quite a nice afternoon and good to go out before the weekend. It was 4 minutes faster than the same route I ran on Monday with Mark.

Cycling 14:46 [4] 6.3 mi (2:21 / mi)

10km on the wattbike. 14:46 which equalled power output of 248watts. It felt like it was almost my max. Almost exactly the same time as Tuesday.

Did 15 minutes of pilates and stretching afterwards. Practising what I have learnt from the Pilates course on Mondays

Running long 1:00:18 [3] 7.02 mi (8:35 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 20

Longer run, as I haven't done much training for the cabbage patch I wanted to see how I might feel. As it turned out I didn't feel to bad but obviously will run quicker on Sunday.

Running 35:40 [3] 4.0 mi (8:55 / mi)
shoes: Asics Gel DS Trainer 20

Went for a run with Mark. Hadn't intended on going with him but as I haven't run for a while thought it might be wise to go at a slower pace and just stretch the legs. It was a good idea, felt good and didn't push myself. I was able to talk for the whole duration which is unusual and could've gone faster.

Pilates 1:00:00 [3]

2nd week of Pilates.

Really got some stretching going on this week. Felt it in the hamstrings the most and quads took quite a lot of the strain. Apparently when you're new and your core is weak, your legs take a lot of the strain.

Really enjoy it and want to learn more. I feel it can really help me in everyday life and keep me injury free.
