Triathlon (G.Gibbs Gym Challenge) 27:28 [5]
Graham had a gym challenge of a super sprint tri in the gym, substituting swimming with rowing. 2km Row - 5km Ride - 3km Run
Haven't rowed for about 7 years so Donald gave me advice and told me to stick to a 2min/500m pace which i did dead on.
Row 8mins
Got off with legs full of lactic and wobbled my way to the Watt Bike. Had this setup already. Immediately set about spinning a high cadence of around 100 and getting wattage into the high 200's. Think I averaged 275-280
Ride 7:17
Went straight onto the runner and started off doing the 1st minute at about 4:20/km pace then knocked the speed up to run at 4min/km pace. Maintained this to 11 minutes before sprinting the last minute at about 3:50/km pace
Run 12:11
Felt shattered at the end and took me about 2 hours to cool down.
