Sunday Nov 26 #

Orienteering race 1:10:46 [4] 8.2 km (8:38 / km)

JOK Championships, Aughertree Fell (approximately 8.2 km) in 70:46. Scheduled WCOC event was cancelled due to flooding, so Duncan Archer planned a multi-loop event on open access land at very short notice for us. Cold but sunny. Hard work over the tussocks, but the navigation was not trivial and small mistakes were possible in the circle. Ran entirely alone and reduced to a slow plod in places, and so quite happy to stop after 3 loops.

Trail Race race 24:00 [5] 5.0 km (4:48 / km)

Slight unexpected return to Keswick parkrun #182 less than a year after my first visit. Steady effort on a frosty morning with icy patches on the bridges and boardwalk. A good workout.

Trail Run 10:00 [1]

Gentle warm up and down.

Hill Walk 3:00:00 [3]

Up and over Causey Pike and Barrow with snow and cold wind on the upper slopes with Rachel, Heather and Pete Bell from JOK. Welcome teashop afterwards.
