Cycling 1:32:02 [4]

Brisk cycle from Bearsden to Milngavie to Torrence to Lennoxtown to Strathblane to Mugdock to Milngavie and back to Bearsden on a sunny evening in 92:02. Some poor road conditions in a few places - maybe these will be fixed for the European Road Race Champs, which uses some of the same road in August?

Trail Run 1:46:17 [3]

Slow plod from the Railway Bridge back down the West Highland Way to Clobber Road in 85:40 and then home (+20:38) in 106:17 on a sunny early Sunday evening. Always a struggle. Knees not very happy. Tired afterwards.

Trail Race race 25:57 [4] 5.0 km (5:11 / km)

Steady effort round the notoriously steep Drumchapel parkrun #95 in 25:57 working quite hard to stay ahead of a runner in my peripheral vision behind (I did).

Terrain Run 53:39 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run, Dunellan and Jaw Reservoir (clockwise) on a damp and misty evening with Dave in 53:39. A surprising (and disappointing) amount of rubbish on the hill: I returned with 7 plastic bottles, 2 cans and a size 34C bra (it must have been a hell of a party!).

Orienteering race 57:46 [4] 5.2 km (11:07 / km)

FVO Evening Event, Dumyat, Green Course (5.2 km, lots of climb) in 57:46. Excellent workout on an area with plenty of climb with some tricky navigational challenges looking for crags on steep slopes. Hesitant climbing up to 3 and a miss at 9, but otherwise a pretty steady on a gloriously sunny evening.

Interval Session intervals 1:18:15 [5]

Tough Garscube Interval Session (78:15). Warm up to Annesland (15.47), 1 x 2 miles (15:50), 4 x 400 m (starting with a very slow 2:03 and finishing with a more respectable 1:41), 1 x 1 mile (7.50), then warm down back to Garscube (16:09).
