Urban Orienteering race 52:12 [3] 6.4 km (8:09 / km) +110m 7:31 / km

STAG SOUL 7, Summerston and Gilshochill, Brown (6.4 km, 100 m) in 52:12. Steady plod round an unexpectedly interesting (and pleasingly short) course on a damp and rainy morning. A couple of small hesitations (due to fences of uncertain thickness) and possibly non-optimum choices on the long legs, but more fun than expected. Right knee intermittently sore.

Victoria parkrun #238 in 22:24 on a sunny morning. My first visit since May 2017 and my fastest time since May 2016. Right knee somewhat improved, but still a bit stiff.

CLYDE Terrain Run. Brisk run round Loch Ardinning with Dave, Patrick, Iain, Mirjam and Ty via the wood to the top of the hill. A tough workout - clearly the slowest of a rapidly-moving group. Right knee sore. Rest tomorrow!

Springburn Harriers "Three Bridges" 6 K (formerly the Canal Canter). A new name, a new distance, and a new route out-and-back along the north side of the canal. Pushing hard all the way, and pleased with 22:04 for the 5 K split and 26.37 (unofficial) for 6 K. A good hard effort on a pleasant evening. On the downside, both knees are still pretty stiff and a bit sore.

Tough Garscube interval session at the track. Warm up, then 9 x 800 m [1 slow, then 6 at even pace in around 3:32, then last 2 with negative splits in 3:29 and 3:24 finishing with a flat out sprint], then warm down. Session 63:31. Right knee still playing up (hence "injured" flag).
