Terrain Run 53:20 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run. 356 Trig anti-clockwise on a mild evening with suprisingly thick mist at the top and surprisingly wet conditions underfoot in 53:20. Well adrift of Mirjam, Alex and Alice. Knee a bit sore on the descent, but not quite enough for the "injured" flag.

MAROC SOL 1, Birsemore Hill, Short Brown (5.4 km, 215 m) in 55:14. Slow start with heavy legs from last night, but otherwise a clean run on a great area. Surprisingly short course ended rather abruptly.

Road Race race 28:10 [3] 5.0 km (5:38 / km)

Victoria parkrun #265. Slow jog round Victoria Park in 28:02 (officially, actually 28:10 unofficially) on a mild Spring morning with the crocuses coming out.

Orienteering race 1:32:48 [5] 7.3 km (12:43 / km) +275m 10:42 / km

British Night Championships 2019, Muir of Dinnet, M50 (7.3 km, 275 m) in 92:48. Great race on a great area in near perfect mild conditions. Small misses at 2 (-1.15) and 3 (-1.00) but the wheels came off with a huge miss at 6 (-8.00), a crag on a featureless hillside. Thereafter kept going pretty well with just one more miss at 8 (-2.00) and finished strongly through the trickly section near the finish. Disappointed to be so far behind winner Ben Stansfield (72:48), but pleased to keep going physically and with most (but not all!) of the navigation.

Walk 50:00 [2]

Walk to start and from finish.
