Urban Orienteering race 40:55 [5] 5.3 km (7:43 / km)

CLYDE Evening Event, Baljaffray, Long (5.3 km straight line, 8 km + running) in 40:55. Hard effort on a sunny evening using a new map by Dave R and a nice course by Lindsay R which visited some new and some very familiar parts of Bearsden. 3/9, just ahead of Al D (41:18) and Iain M (41:46), but well behind Simon G (34:48) and Dave R (35:20).

Brisk walks from Durham Station to University in the morning and back in the evening using a couple of non-optimum routes,

Trail Race race 20:00 [4]

Garscube Senior/Junior race at Garscube Estate. Some bursts of fast running, plus some impromptu marshaling and encouragement on a damp evening. Approximately 20 mins running.

Trail Race race 1:15:02 [5] 13.5 km (5:33 / km)

5th Milngavie Trail Race (13.5 km) in 75:02. Solid effort on a damp morning with drizzle and puddles underfoot. Very slightly slower than previous efforts (2015: 74:14, 2016: 74:06, 2017: 74:01, 2018: DNS), but certainly the wettest conditions the race has been run in.

Road Race race 24:07 [5]

Tollcorss parkrun #318 in 24:07. Felt pretty rough making a fairly hard effort on a pleasant morning. Just behind Alice (also feeling rough after a hard week).

Almost a proper warm up before the parkrun.
