Trail Run 1:16:13 [3]

Slow plod from Drymen Road to Mugdock Visitors' Centre along the West Highland Way and the Red Brae on a cold but sunny Sunday lunchtime with clear blue skies. Felt very slow by the end, but a great Autumnal day to be out and about.

Road Race race 24:08 [5] 5.0 km (4:50 / km)

Queen's parkrun #4 in 24:08 on a cold (hat, gloves, thermal, t-shirt and jacket!) morning. A good battle with Al Dunlop (24:04) - he shot off at the start but then slowed down so that I caught him half way up the hill on the second lap only for him to fly back past me on the run in. Good workout, and pleased to take more than 90 seconds off my only previous time at Queen's Park.

Terrain Run 56:44 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run, Jaw Reservoir and Dunellan anticlockwise on a cool and windy evening with Dave, Ian and Jen. Wet and slippery conditions underfoot, made worse by bringing my road shoes instead of my orienteering shoes.

Interval Session intervals 1:25:00 [5]

Garscube intervals at the Switchback. Warm up (19:32), then 7 x 1 km with a hill at the start in between 4:39 and 4:52, warm down (8:59). Session 85 minutes. A tough session, and well of the back of the pack, but I got through it.

Monday Nov 4 #

Road Run 43:28 [2]

Slow plod from Milngavie Station up to Mugdock Reservoirs, anti-clockwise round the smaller reservoir, and back on a dark and blustery evening with a seriously inadequate head touch. Legs still pretty stiff from Saturday.
