Trail Race race 1:12:42 [5] 14.0 km (5:12 / km)

Devilla Forest "15 K" Trail Race 2020 in 72:42 (unofficial). Hooray to the organisers for going ahead despite the dire weather warnings, albeit with a slightly shorter (14 K?) "bad weather" version of the course replacing the more exposed loop round the loch with a more sheltered circuit of the 5 K course. Windy and very wet underfoot with flooding and huge puddles on the first half of the course, but otherwise not bad conditions for running, and the sun even came out towards the end. Quickly lost sight of Alice (approx. 69) but had a good run, holding position pretty well on the second half.

Ruchill parkrun #138 in 24:00. Concerted effort on a bright but chilly morning ahead of the storm to come later in the day. Rachel broke her Ruchill PB by 10 seconds.

Terrain Run 54:00 [4]

CLYDE Terrain Run. Brisk clockwise (i.e. backwards) loop on The Whangie with Dave, Iain, Ty and Alice in 54:00 on a cool and still evening. Wet underfoot.

Wednesday Feb 5 #

Strength and Conditioning 50:00 [4]

Garscube Strength and Conditioning session. Warm up exercises, then 3 x 40 seconds per station new circuit with various items of equipment, then some stretching all in about 50 minutes.

Tuesday Feb 4 #

Interval Session intervals 1:12:07 [5]

Garscube interval session at Anniesland. Warm up (12:25), brief stretching, 4 x 1 mile in 7:30, 7:33, 7:54 and 7:41, and warm down (9:44). Good session.
