Mugdock Visitors' Centre to Killearn and back through Milngavie at steady pace in 90:54. The sun even came out on the way back home.

Strength and Conditioning 45:00 [4]

Sweaty Strength and Conditioning session via Zoom with R.
3 PM

Terrain Run 56:35 [3]

356 Trig anticlockwise "with" Thomas and Emma during a break in the weather with very wet conditions underfoot. Felt so much better than (and 5 minutes quicker than) last Tuesday.

Orienteering 43:39 [4]

Mugdock POC 90 Minute Score using MapRunF in 43:39. A good hard run with one "proper" error costing approx 2-3 minutes when I badly overshot J after getting confused by a (second) beep from K, and a long wait for A to beep despite standing beside the post. A good workout on a damp afternoon. Thomas took 35:45, Alice 41:22, and Rachel 58:21.

Cycling 46:42 [3]

Brisk loop up through the Khyber Pass and back via Milngavie in the gathering gloom with lights for the first time since lockdown.

Wednesday Sep 9, 2020 #

Terrain Run 1:06:54 [4]

Not-the-CLYDE-terrain-run: Cort ma Law out and back with Thomas, Alice, Ty and Iain on a pleasant early evening. Brisk pace, especially on the descent! Knees not 100%, but better than yesterday.

Terrain Run 1:02:38 [3]

Plod round the 356 Trig on a wet and misty (but not cold) early evening in failing light. Slow, partly due to tender knees and partly due to very wet conditions underfoot.

Cycling 57:20 [3]

Reasonably brisk round the lanes east of Milngavie in the gathering gloom: winter is closing in!

Note

The planned return of parkrun in England in October made the national news tonight, but so did a tightening of restrictions in East Dunbartonshire, so don't start counting any chickens yet!
