The Slacks, Cochno Hill and south side of the 356 Trig with Alice on a chilly and grey day with slush lower down and ice and frozen snow higher up. Dob studs essential.

Round Loch Ardinning with R, A and Pippin. Icy paths + thin layer of lubricating melt water and rain = slippery going.

Reasonably briskly straight up and down Cochno Hill with Alice under blue skies with crisp snow and ice underfoot. Fewer walkers about than I was expecting on such a nice (if cold) day.

356 Trig anti-clockwise (returning through the terrain rather than along the track) with Alice in bright sunshine out of a cold clear blue sky with quite deep powderly snow underfoot. A couple of well wrapped up walkers coming the other way.

Through snowy streets then up through snowy Baljaffrey Woods, then round a snowy Windy Hill golf course, then home via more snowy streets and snowy Courthill. Lots of people out sledging in sunshine and the freshly fallen show.
