Sunday Feb 14 #

11 AM

Terrain Run 1:26:13 [3] 11.39 km (7:34 / km) +438m 6:21 / km

The Slacks, Cochno Hill and south side of the 356 Trig with Alice on a chilly and grey day with slush lower down and ice and frozen snow higher up. Dob studs essential.
3 PM

Walk 1:15:00 [1]

Round Loch Ardinning with R, A and Pippin. Icy paths + thin layer of lubricating melt water and rain = slippery going.

Saturday Feb 13 #

10 AM

Strength and Conditioning 55:00 [3]

Tough (especially on the arms) Strength and Conditioning session with R via Zoom.
12 PM

Strength and Conditioning 1:00:00 [1]

Walk round snowy and icy South Mugdock trails with Pippin while Alice ran.

Friday Feb 12 #

Note
(rest day)

Crazy work day with a 4 hour PhD viva and meetings 9 am to 6 pm ... no time to run.

Thursday Feb 11 #

3 PM

Terrain Run 46:21 [3] 7.03 km (6:36 / km) +209m 5:45 / km

Reasonably briskly straight up and down Cochno Hill with Alice under blue skies with crisp snow and ice underfoot. Fewer walkers about than I was expecting on such a nice (if cold) day.

Wednesday Feb 10 #

1 PM

Terrain Run 57:36 [3] 7.99 km (7:13 / km) +234m 6:17 / km

356 Trig anti-clockwise (returning through the terrain rather than along the track) with Alice in bright sunshine out of a cold clear blue sky with quite deep powderly snow underfoot. A couple of well wrapped up walkers coming the other way.

Tuesday Feb 9 #

11 AM

Mixed Terrain Run 56:22 [3] 8.37 km (6:44 / km) +129m 6:15 / km

Through snowy streets then up through snowy Baljaffrey Woods, then round a snowy Windy Hill golf course, then home via more snowy streets and snowy Courthill. Lots of people out sledging in sunshine and the freshly fallen show.

Monday Feb 8 #

Note

By the time I was able to go out, it really wasn't tempting to do so!
