ahr:128 max:140

Up and down Cort ma Law from the carpark in the sky. Tough climb in blustery conditions and very wet underfoot after all the recent snow and rain. A couple of big patches of snow left in sheltered valleys.

Terrain Run 56:55 [3] 7.85 km (7:15 / km) +234m 6:19 / km

356 Trig loop the unfashionable way (i.e. clockwise) with Alice on a damp afternoon. All the snow and ice has gone, leaving things a little soggy underfoot. Struggled on the first half: time for a rest day, perhaps?

Cycling 1:50:50 [3] 36.32 km (3:03 / km) +383m 2:54 / km

To Milngavie, then Strathblane and all the way out to the roundabout before returning via Queen's View and The Whangie. Ended up taking longer than I was really intending, not helped by having to double back because of the closed footpath round the reservoir. Quite gloomy and a little chilly by the end.

Urban Orienteering 1:03:18 [3] 10.58 km (5:59 / km) +86m 5:45 / km

Jog to start, then the Mosshead MapRun Long Course (notationally 5.3 km, MapRun says I did 8.42 km in 45:40), then jog home. A couple of route choices I might do differently next time, but no navigational issues. First run in shorts for as long as I can remember!

Cycling 1:12:30 [3] 23.3 km (3:07 / km) +207m 2:59 / km

All the ice and snow disappeared overnight and the temperature went up by about 10 degrees, making this the first day since 30th January when cycling didn't seem like a silly idea. To Milngavie, Mugdock Reservoir, Baldernock, Torrence, back along the main road, Baldernock again, Milngavie again.
