Keen to have a go at all the PB legs despite not having any particular inclination to attempt it. Two down, three to go.

From Pont Cae Gors, up wall more or less to Craig Wen. Boggy and long-grassy mostly and no real way to avoid any of the horribleness. Visited the first summit too rather than just the highest point, and there's a trod along the top so this seems reasonable. Once on the ridge - it's nice. A few places where it looks like it's possible to cut corners but actually following the fall is better as it avoids being surprised by cliffs.

Massive queue on Snowdon as per.

Down to saddle before MC, again it looks like there is some nice grass available to corner cut, but it just turns to scree to best to stay on the path. Once at the saddle though, it's all grass and good running for the rest of the leg. At the very end coming off the fell, I think it's faster to stay on the fenceline from Yr Aelgerth to hut circle rather than going diagonally down to the gate, as that way contrived to be both steep and boggy.

Didn't do the last km on the roads but looped back around the base and had a few km on the road. Good company from Matt L throughout. HSs feeling it on the roads at the end.
