Wish I'd gone to Cherhill Down

Looking at the splits I think some people must've been running around a different area to me!

Can't quite do it yet. Supposed to be:
1 min straight arms
30s normal
1 min raised leg normal (30s each)
1 min side normal (30s each)
30s straight arms
1 min normal

Managed:
1 min straight arms
30s normal
30s raised leg normal (15s each)
1 min side normal (30s each)
30s straight arms
30s normal

He does this every day. Pretty sure if I do too; I'll be world champion.

Can't hurt, anyway...

Running - Trail race (Gwent League XC Blaise) 39:30 [5] 10.0 km (3:57 / km) +226m 3:33 / km
shoes: X-Talon 190 (orange)[9.5]

98th place (77th last year) but 14 seconds faster; pretty happy.

Lunch at 11am for a 2.10pm race was still too close together so felt a bit uncomfortable at times.

8th k was 4:27 which is much worse than anything last year, the rest were more consistent, though.

Wanted to explore my fastest way to get to the bristol->bath cycle path; unfortunately it involved some off road and it was pitch black; had to turn back for fear of falling in the river.

Missed intervals due to work xmas party so wanted to get something in instead.

Party was good until they turned the music on; which was far too loud. I think I can still hear it on Friday.

Windy.

First 400 of each set hard to pace; rest ok.
