Finally, the full loop, 4th time lucky. Still snow up there and paths all super icy, which made it slow going, but we made it back before nightfall. Nearly - torches for last 15mins. Biting icy wind throughout.

Excellent way to spend our anniversary, it really doesn't feel like a year.

Best part: I bought her cheese. Totally independently - she also bought me cheese. Great minds.

I like these shoes for walking.

Who knows how much climb there was on this route. AP says 1400, garmin says 1800 and Strava says 2000. Pretty big disparity from the same dataset.

Em said I should run as slowly as possible; if anything it hurt more but I think that's just because the pace was agonisingly slow.

A sedate 21:10 for the mob match, tbh amazed it was that quick, just running to feel, included steps and stiles and mud and things.

Felt improved but defo not better. Sore afterwards. Ice helped (probably).
