Walking (Wainwrights) 6:01:06 [3] 28.68 km (12:35 / km) +1563m 9:54 / km
ahr:101 max:152 shoes: Roclite G275

From Aira Force waterfall CP, up to Hart Side (sun at the bottom, fog/wind at the top) then straight line compass down to the farm followed by very sketchy OSM 'path' through the woods and past some very suspicious -looking men with dogs whom I suspect we're hunting, probably illegally by how shifty they looked.

Can't be too judgy though since I then had to trespass through a wood, 'private - live shooting in progress', to get to Great Mell Fell. One steep section, otherwise uninteresting. Good views across to Gowbarrow and Little Mell. Nice way down which would make a better running route. Some off piste up to Little Mell; good views to Gowbarrow again, otherwise nothing special. Ullswater Way up to Gowbarrow was nice and then Gowbarrow feeling far more like a proper fell. Woods and waterfall tourism to finish.

Good day, tired by the end. Unexpected tea room was a bonus.

Up to 196 Wainwrights. I think there might still be another 4-walk next in c.30k, but then it gets a bit more tricky.

Surprisingly nice. Won by miles. Made a few mistakes but don't have the map in front of me to analyse them.
