10km TT!
With a couple of others at uq on their Mara course for two weeks time. Handicapped which was really good.
First 10km so not really any expectations and ended up around where I thought I would be.
Pacing wasn’t the best so definitely lots of room for improvement when that’s sorted. Bit off handicapped time so that's for next time! And also if I don’t take a wrong turn next time, oopsie
Felt longer than I expected but felt quite good the whole way, tummy got a bit yuck and probably should’ve just worn shorts, though definitely glad to have gloves most of the way.
Wrote strong and race on my hand to try to remind me to keep good form and push. Really glad I decided to do it at the last minute yesterday, lots of fun just getting out and pushing hard with the others.
Definitely looking forward to doing another one sometime soon!
