Tired after a big weekend working, probably as much mentally as physically.
Quite humid and lots of people dodging too and a big head wind on the way back.
Think I just didn't have the mental energy to really push myself tonight. And that's okay. Nice to get out for a run and get some work done anyway. Tried to focus on form and running tall.
L hip a bit funny and felt like I couldn't lift my leg very well.
Nice sunset over the river and nice company.

Qld Relays 3 x 1000m running first leg.
Really fun and super nice evening conditions apart from a massive headwind on the back straight.
Knew we'd be way off so tried not to get carried away at the start but I think I could've held on better except I lacked the mental energy after a big day working to push myself that extra bit.
QA likes to throw in some bull about what clothes to wear and we had to fold in the branding on shorts which was very uncomfortable.
Not sure of exact time bc they didn't publish split times.
But really fun.

Very very tired today and had hardly eaten all day bc of being at uni and hadn’t planned to be. Hot too. So just super chill and stopped to look at all the lil birdies and the big trees at the secret forest and the lake. Very pretty, a nice run.

Very humid and hot, very very glad I brought my pack and very very glad I refilled it half way.

But very nice run, company and scenery and novelty is always fun!

Very fun, went quite hard on the first and third reps. Tried to get good accelerations but then had trouble holding it for the longer ones because I'd get inside my head too much.

Super humid evening and thought I had eaten too much beforehand, but actually felt quite okay, just a little tired still from the weekend.
R hip a bit funny during the day but didn't notice it running.
Landing a bit heavy I think from the shoes and started slouching when I got tired.
A few bugs flying about and even saw one of those tiny frogs hopping along.
Felt quite cooked from half way through the warm down and tummy very yuck after the session.
Really good to get it done and have someone to chase and chat with :-)
Roughly 4:12 pace for the first 3 with the last one at 4:06.

Corso loop was shorter than I thought so added the extra bit to finish Krsytal's run with her.
Very hot and humid so lots of drink/shower/swim stops which were much needed.
Felt quite okay but knee not happy at the end and was quite hungry by the first sb swim stop.
Super yummy lunch after :-)

Short fast session on the oval pre brekky.
5 x 200m with 200 walk rec, 5min break then 1km tt.
A bit too late to be out without brekky so could definitely feel the lack of energy (especially in the 200s where I wasn't accelerating very well). But it would've gotten too late and hot if I had had brekky first.
Breathing in the tt was very high and tight, not good and took a little bit for it to go back afterwards.
But the tt wasn't as slow as I thought it might be !!

15 x 200m with 200m steady recovery continuous.
Really fun running intervals with her, and definitely would not have made it out let alone intervals otherwise. And so good to have someone to chase.
Not going all out and trying to focus on keeping up form when I could feel myself slowing. But actually felt a lot better than expected, considering how long it has been since doing any speed work. Really nice evening out too.
Need to talk less and breathe more in the recoveries !!
