Running 15:52 [3] 3.05 km (5:12 / km) +46m 4:50 / km
slept:11.0 (injured) shoes: Mizuno Wave Rider 19

Easy coupla ks. Was actually the warm up for my long run, but my hip was really sore so just turned around and went home again. I think it was a good decision though because this morning I could hardly walk normally because of it and last night it was so painful as well. No idea whats up with it though, just going to take it easy for a bit and hope that it just disappears.
Such a nice arvo though, wish I could've stayed out for longer.

Rocks Riverside Parkrun.
First one since April so was kinda hoping to go faster than this but I guess that the past few weeks' training hasn't been super great. And having a million class parties and a weakness for cake probably doesn't help either.
I think I also started out a bit too fast, though on a good day I think I would've been able to hold this pace, but I was too tired and not in it mentally and slowed down a fair bit.
Really nice morning though and glad I went all the same.

Swimming 17:10 [3] 0.5 km (34:20 / km)

Note
(injured)

This arvo at ParkO my hip was so painful, even just to walk on. So going to take it really easy this week and see how it goes. I think it's either my shoes or the way I run/walk or maybe some muscles pulling something weird. Not sure

The plan was up Cootha to see the moon. Decided to add in a little extra loop at the bottom and arranged to meet again with Francois at the hut. When I got to the hut I couldn't find him anywhere so I did a loop of butterfly track to try to find if he'd gone into the forest earlier and was waiting for me along there somewhere, but no such luck. Found a friend and had a short chat then did another loop from the hut then just bailed and went up to the top because it was getting too dark and I didn't have a light. The last km or so wasn't great because I was tired and losing good form and a bit stressed out because I wasn't with Francois and also couldn't see the track without a light. Found him at the top, along with a ton of other people in a massive traffic jam, I guess trying to see the moon which by that point wasn't very impressive anymore. Nice night out though, though stomach wasn't feeling the best because I had to eat pretty soon before heading out after spending a while at the dentists this afternoon. Sunset was really pretty though and the moon was really cool early on.
