Long run with Zoe and pup out to UQ and back.
Keeping it flat because she is having some niggles on the hills and a bit shorter too. Nice change of scenery and good to run it a lil faster than usual thanks to the flat concrete. So thankful to have her as I don’t know that I would’ve made it out the door otherwise, though didn’t feel that bad out and it only got better.
Found the drop bear, though it is looking a bit worse for wear at the moment.

Rocks parkrun
Hot and humid. Legs, body and mind tired. Just tried to push through and not get too slow. Lots of people out but ended up in a bit of a gap. Form got sloppy and pacing was a bit all over the place.
Always fun to be out with lots of people though, and definitely looking forward to the cooler weather in a while!

4 x progressive 800s with 200m walk rec.
Getting faster every 200m starting at 5km pace, then 3km, 1500m then faster. Target was decreasing by 2s every 200m.
Aiming for 48,6,4,2 but didn't get the pacing at all for the first two but better for the last two.
Found it hard to work out what I was meant to be doing because the two guys who had the same target paces as me were speeding up a lot more than I was so I was getting dropped quite a lot, though I was sticking to the plan so I was fine in the end.

Warm and humid out and quite tired so some parts weren't quite that easy.
One downhill quite a bit steeper than I remember and had a bit of an eeeew moment but made it down alive though I thought my back wheel was going to fall off idk I dont trust bikes

3 x 3 x 200m on/off with 200m walk between sets then 5:30min break before 1km tt.
Pretty tired still this morning so staying a bit more controlled. 200s meant to be at about 3km pace but they were actually about the same pace at the tt ended up being, but the group I was with was taking them quite fast as I was still a bit off the back even so. Don't have the strength to run the short fast reps very well yet as well.
Felt tired but good in the tt, didn't go all out and focused on trying to keep cadence up (though feet got a bit heavy) and use some of the breathing things from parkrun the other day, think they worked well. Think it ended up being my fastest one here yet (just) so thats nice to see.
Slits: 39, 42, 42, 40, 41, 41, 40, 41, 41 and 3:38.
