Easy solo over cootha to slaughter then round to simpsons and back.
Just tired all over and almost gave up so many times.
Makes such a difference to have company.
Golden hour when I got back up to the top but didn’t have the energy to go to the lookout.
Nice arvo out anyway.

Kedron parkrun
Started way faster than the plan and definitely felt it in the middle few kms and struggled to the end and form went out the window.
Very hot and humid this morning, so sweaty.
Really fun running at a new course though, liked it lots. And really nice with so many buddies from the club out there, running with 2 of the girls I train with the whole way which was nice.
Hopefully can come back when the weather cools down and try the course again!

Intaining track session
8 x 400m with 200m float and a fast 200m to finish.
400s target was 1500m pace with floats fast enough to maintain that pace. Goal for the session was to be more even than last time and it went quite well, though slowed a bit in the last two because I wasn't concentrating and what I was doing. With a small group for the first 5 or so, then a lot of people dropped off as they were just doing 3km then got into a bit of a gap so a bit tougher for the last few too. Overall time a bit slower than last time but it was a lot hotter and more humid this morning so not worried. Happy with the session.
