Easy with Zoe and Farrah out Graceville way and back.
Felt like it took a lot of energy/effort even though it was slow, easy and flat - sick of not sleeping enough and not well.
Really fun though and nice morning and ran into heaps of people we knew!

Track session with Zoe
8 x 400m with 200m steady rec and 200m fast to finish (5k continuous).
Tough session and too tired today to run it well.
Very distracted and even forgot if I was meant to be running steady or fast at one point. Started a bit fast for how I felt and couldn't hold it, though after they slowed down they were fairly consistent at the slower speed.
Hot and humid this morning too which didn't help and grass was pretty slippery in a couple of places. Its getting really worn out now too.
But new shoes were nice and there was the most incredible sunrise which spread to both sides so there were bright, pretty colours the whole way around the track!

Nice morning but regretted not wearing shorts about 1min after leaving.

Speed session with Zoe
8 x 500m on/off, 3min break before 1km TT.
Good session, solid. Really like this one because we are on the same side of the reservoir the whole time so you get to watch the whole sunrise!
Out later today so lots of people and dogs to dodge especially at the end.
Tights were in the wash so just in shorts today and it wasn't even that bad, makes me wonder if I've just been a wuss the past few weeks. But did get a big of a brain freeze half way through.
Getting pretty cooked towards the end, about expected but didn't feel so great in the tt. But I also need to get out of my head more and just run hard.
Last rep a bit slow because I got distracted and it was also a bit long.
Really nice morning out!
