5 x 800m with 200m jog rec but 100 jog 100 fast at the end to make it 5km.
Stayed steady, felt good, form mostly strong and reminded myself to stay light on my feet when I was starting to get heavy. Didn't look at my watch because I know where the markers are and just went off feel and was fairly consistent.
Glute a bit sore again towards the end of the reps so did some stretching before the cool down. Hopefully next week can run more but it is kinda nice having fresh legs for every session !
New shoes very nice, a little stiffer than the last pairs but they felt easy to run in which is always nice.
Perfect temp and lots of cute dogs out.
