Tired, pool was crowded and ppl were being annoying and just chatting at the end of the lane so got grumpy by the end.

5 x 800m with 200m jog rec but 100 jog 100 fast at the end to make it 5km.
Stayed steady, felt good, form mostly strong and reminded myself to stay light on my feet when I was starting to get heavy. Didn't look at my watch because I know where the markers are and just went off feel and was fairly consistent.
Glute a bit sore again towards the end of the reps so did some stretching before the cool down. Hopefully next week can run more but it is kinda nice having fresh legs for every session !
New shoes very nice, a little stiffer than the last pairs but they felt easy to run in which is always nice.
Perfect temp and lots of cute dogs out.

A bit low on energy and tired but went okay once I had the lane to myself.
Trying to use shoulders and arms more during the 50s - which then helps me breathe lower too.
Got really sunburnt oopsie.

Intraining speed session.
6 x 500m with 500m jog rec, 5mins break then a 1km tt.
In the drizzle! Really fun and luckily not as slippery as I thought it would be.
Ran with Warren and should’ve made myself stick with him from the start as by the end of the 500s I was still doing fine. But he got so far ahead so quickly for tt so maybe he was holding back a bit.
Felt pretty good but I think that is just due to how easy last week was. Hip/glute fine running fast but could feel it a bit in the easy sections. I think it should be fine to run through but going to cut out as much easy mileage as possible and switch that to the pool and see how it goes.
