Running (Warm up) 11:11 [3] 1.29 mi (8:40 / mi)
shoes: Asics GT2000 (light blue/gray)

Short warm up with a few (slower) strides.

Running (Torchlight) 20:53 [3] 3.11 mi (6:43 / mi)
shoes: Asics GT2000 (light blue/gray)

Very hot and humid. Legs actually felt good after not running since Curnow and I was able to fit my elephant foot into a shoe and it felt ok. I think my legs could have gone faster, but I was maxed out breathing.
Splits....6:30-6:46-6:55. Overall, happy with the run.
Course was very different this year.

Note
(rest day)

As much as I would like to do a little run before I attempt a 5k tomorrow night (it ain't gonna be pretty!), I think my best bet would be to elevate my leg again. Leg is still pretty swollen, but I have a lot more mobility in it today. Darned hornets!

Note
(rest day)

Planned on a rest day today anyways, but now I really need it. I was mowing the lawn yesterday and got stung twice above the ankle. My lower leg and foot is so swollen I can't even put a shoe on. Lots of ice and some over the counter allergy meds and hopefully all should be good again by tomorrow.

Great day for a run! Ran with Christopher the whole way, good time :)
It went better than I expected. 1 minute slower than last year. Jarrow's beach this year, but it was cooler this year too.
