ORIENTEERING race 50:23 [4] 7.22 km (6:59 / km)

third leg at the relays. Gill and mum had ok runs so I went out in a pretty good position. then like yesterday I screwed up every control and spent 10mins looking for number 9. it was worse than yesterday because it was a relay and was in a really fast forest. just really hated it out there.
we actually did better than I thought and came 2nd in the 20 class.

ORIENTEERING race 1:08:37 [5] 9.1 km (7:32 / km) +130m 7:02 / km

Scottish champs at Gullane dunes. the first seven controls I made a mistake at every one which was really stupid. my direction was awful and I completely lost track of where I was on several occasions. not my best orienteering. the rest of the course was ok because it was in the bit that I had been in before. the course wasn't very well planned either as I went passed number 2 at least three times whilst visiting other controls. really enjoyed it though.

ran along the hill to netball with louis. feeling tired so it was a bit harder than anticipated but fun!
