O race (Night O) 1:04:24 [3]

First time out for a couple of weeks, with not feeling good. Still wasn't feeling great and only decided at the last minute to go. Got the train up.
Never ran anything more than just steady, but was pleased with how I executed.

Took the straight route to #4 and aimed-off left. Undergrowth was very thick and had to be steady to find the control when I crossed the path. Might have been quicker to go round on the path.

Got very confused halfway to #5. The big building didn't seem to be on the map and I lost confidence where I was. There seemed to be a fence missing as well. I ploughed on on a bearing and picked up the path I was planning to be on and was ok from then.

Got distracted by someone asking if I'd found #9 while I wasn't lost and making my way there. Took me a bit of time to get my bearings again in a vague area, but then found it ok.

Pleased I went out. I really enjoy Night-O. But was completely wiped out by the effort.
