O (Night O) 59:42 [4]

Wasn't focused enough tonight. Kept making little mistakes, the worst, missing #3. Straight-ish line between #2 and #4 and after faffing around finding #2, my brain just blanked #3, despite pretty much running passed it. Shame, as it was a good, challenging course.

Tried to get to #2 from path to the east. It was much easier from the west path.

Lost track of which paths I was on approaching #4. I really was away with fairies at this point, what with not going to #3 as well.

Got things a bit more together for the next few controls.

#9 was further down the slope than I expected. And it always seems to be, every time there is a control on that feature.

It was a bit ambitious to try to take a bearing to #10. It's vague and green in that section. Had to come out, relocate and go back in again to find it.

Overran to #12, but realised what I'd done.

Not concentrating passed the lake after #14 and ended up on the wrong path. Didn't cost me too much though.

O race (Forest O) 54:17 [4]

That felt better than I have done for the last few weeks. Felt like I could push more that I have been able to. Having to take it easy so much has meant I've lost a lot of form. But something I can build on. Just need to be careful not to push too hard coming up.

Navigation was relatively easy and the forest had good visibility. Pleased with how I executed.

Didn't turn immediately along the fence over the bridge to #7 and had to fight through the undergrowth to get onto the field. Overshot the control without a good attackpoint, but realised I'd done it. Lost 60s

Not a great exit out of #16. Let the undergrowth take me too far west. Terrible bearing from the knoll, north east of #17. Didn't really check my compass. Thought I saw the knoll I wanted. It was the wrong one. Lost 60s+.
