I was very pleased with how I felt this went after I finished, but looking at the results, it looks like it was just an average run. I felt on top of it all the way round and was running quite well though. Got on a train with Jon from #11 and it was about 50/50 between us who led who in, but that probably helped me in the second half.
Lost time in the circle at #4. Control was well hidden in the bracken.
Lost about 2mins to #5 going through the white to the NW of #5. Had to slow to a walk through the bracken. Would have been much quicker to stick to the path to the north.
Might have been quicker to run round to the north to #9. I executed ok, but lots of climbing.
Agree with others that our #10 (122) was well to the SW of where it was mapped. GPS trace agrees. I saw someone dib it though, so didn't lose much.
#17 (215) was E of where it was mapped, but again it was open and I saw someone find it, so no loss.
Tripped over a stump on the way to #20 and winded myself. lost about 20s getting going again.
My only real mistake to #22. Didn't pace count from the path and stopped early. Lost about 30s.http://www.bko.routegadget.co.uk/rg2/#133&cour...
