Another day I wimped out and went to UWS. Started easy as legs were heavy from the two previous days; then started picking it up: 40:00-36:16, with a 6:47 last mile. Need to learn to control myself indoors but just get rolling and love running fast - or relatively fast.
At UWS. Wanted to run 7:30s, but got going and felt great. 35:59-36:00. After first mile at 7:28 averaged 7:10s. Fourth fastest 10 miler since I started by comeback and just a solid workout. Now some easy days.
At UWS. After an hour running with Jess and Dan. 1600 Splits: 6:49, 6:49, 6:49. Good workout, just tried to maintain pace. Only 28 seconds slower than my Victory 5K back in September and the 2nd fastest 5K I have run since turning 60 and it was only a workout. Feeling good.
