After three nights wearing the boot, this was the best my foot has felt running. Also, the best the foot felt getting up in morning. Runs of 5-8 miles at 8-8:30 pace for a couple of weeks should get me back toward the shape I was in.
Taking today and yesterday off. Using this boot thing that Jeffrey has at night. Strap my foot in for the night to keep the ankle stiff. Seems to help.
Back to Hermantown running - very boring. Heel felt okay until the last mile when it started to hurt a bit, but was again okay when I finished. Just need to get in slow miles to regain the conditioning I lost.
