DAMN. Ran 4 on the track: 7:49, 7:48, 7:46, 7:30 - foot felt fine. Walked 150 meters and suddenly my heel was on fire. Will see Adam tomorrow. Think this was a big setback. Oh, well, life goes on. 5K split was 24:21; last 5K would be about 24 flat
At H'town track: 8:15, 8:05, 8:00, 7:55. Felt great. Had an appointment with Adam today. Worked on my foot. Said ok to run, but if it starts to hurt, then stop. Hence, the track is the best bet for now - I can stop at any time and not be far from the car.
On the H'town track: 8:35, 8:02, 7:35, :54. Wanted to run on softer track and thought best to run on level ground. Heel felt ok. Last Mile & a half where beyond my comfort zone. 10 weeks until the GB half - will be tough to get in shape as I have to go slow for a few weeks.
