Mora 5k. Very, very happy. Best race since turning 70. Went out too fast, but hung on. 6:27, 6:50, 7:01. Was able to push all the way, not into the "Hurt Tank" but still a hard effort. 85% or 84% for age-graded (two sources used) - translates to a 15:12 or 15:27 - I am thrilled with either. 54 seconds faster than the 5K in Bemidji last month - better weather and I mentally hung in the race. Was fist overall Master.

After ten straight days of running, needed a break so so mowed and raked the whole Hermantown yard. Tired. Would have been easier to run 4-5 miles.

Afternoon run to the HS and HS trail. Ran on the trail in memory of our dog who was put to sleep today. She loved walking on the trail, so I visited the trail for her. 10 days/67 miles.

Started slow as legs were heavy. By the middle of the run felt good, then ran the last 2.5 miles @ 7:23s. Cool and light rain.
