Beautiful day. Ran at the Enger mile loop - MN Mile course. Ran course twice: 7:50, 7:45, then ran a couple of miles easy, then one harder mile: 7:18. Jess is right, one tough course. The 300 meter uphill at the 3/4 mile mark makes for a challenging finish. Splits: 1:51, 1:50, 1:52, 1:45 - but pushed the last 1/4. There will be no sub-4s on this course.

75 degrees, 61 dp. Summer is back. Thought I was running around 8:30 pace when I looked at my watch at 4 miles, but was 7:56 pace. Tried to keep it going and ran 7:52 next 3 miles, then finished with a 7:39 mile. Tired, but had a good workout.
