Nice sunny 40 degree day, with a light wind out of the west.

Miles: 8:10, 8:05, 8:03, 7:56, 7:50, 7:42, 7:26, 7:19.

Was not planing on a fast run, but after 4 miles, decided to push the pace. Stayed outside of the "hurt zone".

Cloudy, 33 and damp. Tired from yesterday, but got in decent miles.

To Martin Rd/Midway and return. Knew I was riding the wind going out so thought I would be around 50-51 minutes at 10K, but was 47:56 (7:43). Knew I would be fighting the wind coming back and hoped to run 50 minutes, but was even more surprised that I ran faster into the wind, 47:36 (7:40). Just when I started having doubts of running a marathon, I bust a great workout. Last two miles hurt, but a good hurt. This is the pace I would love to run at Grandma's. Just need to maintain pace and double the distance in 12 weeks.

Finally got out and ran. First 4 miles was floating at 8:10s, then into the stiff east wind.
