Went to Hartley and ran on old Hartley Rd within the park. Ran one mile, 10:06, walked for 90 seconds, then ran back in 9:46. Very slow, but running. Never thought I would even be able to run 2 miles again. Knees felt fine afterward, but my guts hurt bad the last part of mile two.
I received lubricant shots (know as Rooster shots or Rooster Boosters) on Monday. It takes a few weeks to really work, but after a few days my knees felt much better. So when we were preparing the Proctor course course for the meet next Tuesday, I thought I would try some running. Felt very strange and the form was very bad. But kind of call it running.
