Long Run 3:06:00 [3] 21.0 mi (8:51 / mi) +4000ft 7:30 / mi
shoes: Haglofs Gram Comp

A lot warmer today than the last few months. A good strong loop of the Hathersage - Abney - Eyam - Hathersage route :-) followed by a run home via Harper Lees - Grindleford - Padley Gorge - Surprise View - Over Owler Tor - Higger Tor - Burbage Rocks - Houndkirk Bridleway - Porter Valley.

Bit disappointed with the distance, thought it would have been a wee bit longer but never mind.

Felt pretty strong throughout, only started to falter around Burbage Rocks.

Recovery - felt good to go again the same night.

Top of the valley and back. Nice run, felt OK. No after effects from cut foot. All go for a long run tomorrow.

Trail Run 58:29 [4] 8.0 mi (7:19 / mi) +927ft 6:35 / mi
shoes: Haglofs Gram Comp

Tough run to Oxstones via the MTB track through Canning's Plantation. Legs felt shot after yesterday's weights but pleased to grind it out and put in a reasonably good effort.

Looking at the splits, only mile 4 seems anomalous, a 9:46 to the head of the climb. I would ordinarily like to take a good minute or so off that, but all in all very pleased with it.

Less positively, the old Piri problem is still hanging around. Might be time to enlist some professional help and also get some regular home massage too.

Resistance - Legs 25:00 [5]

Went a bit overboard on the weighted squats, but an overall workout with some core thrown in too.
