Level 2+ clinic with the awesome Jay Thomas. Worked a lot on line selection through rocks and switchbacks. My biggest takeaway is to take the most direct route, even if it doesn't look the easiest.

Castlewood 8 Hour Adventure Race with Scott, Neil, and Tim. We had a miscommunication on cp2 and Scott punched it in the wrong box. After we figured that out, he had to go back and wait in line again for the correct punch. The canoe leg went smoothly and it was fun to see Bob and Chuck on the river bank. Our transition after the canoe was super slow and we were passed by a lot of teams there. The bike leg was a lot of fun and Neil did great on nav. After getting our last map for the final trekking leg, I took over on nav and Neil helped me. Tim's legs started cramping, so we took some time to get him some electrolytes and water. After he was better, we ran lost of the rest of the checkpoints. It was a super fun, well organized race and it was great to see so many new racers.

Road ride with John from the bike shop. He got a flat and we both thought the other one had air. I rode back to get the car and wasn't upset we cut the ride short. It was freezing out.
