orienteering 42:33 [4] 4.3 km (9:54 / km)

Lake Rotoiti
I went slow on the first one and managed to get a bit of a fell for the map,, but managed to mess abotu for a while on 3 and even longer on 4 - when I was gaining confidence in the map I decided two ponds and the only sttep slope would have to be the best attackpoint on the map. Sneaky Smithson caught me at four and we managed to pull each other off on 9 and 10 whist trying to push the pace.

orienteering race 1:50:31 [4] *** 15.0 km (7:22 / km)

Canaan Downs
A fairly safe run with only a few mistakes. Flet slow and unfit for most of it. I did blow the first one, and a bit of mess up on 3, so I took more conservative routes through the forest. All went pretty well until I couldn't find the final control and lost a place to Carsten. hmm.
