O at Georges Heights. Good area but very hilly like last week just down the road. Started through the buildings in Georges Heights then down to Balmoral Beach for a small loop and along the streets right down to Taronga Zoo and back along the trails through Clifton Gardens and Chowder Bay. Left out no.16, 7 and 10 in the middle and finished on time for once for 560 points in 2nd. Horrocks got 580 but looking at his route it was slightly better.

Really steep course starting at Chinamans Beach first collecting the southern controls via Balmoral Beach then across the busy Spit Road down to no.27 which I should have def left. I reckon I could have gained 20 points by not getting it. Collected all the bush controls around Beauty Point just missing no.7 then around the Spit leaving out no.18, 3 and 20 and finishing in 50.06 for 480 points. Equal top with Steve Ryan.

Started with Mounty in pouring rain under the Harbour Bridge.

Firstly did a small loop up to 24, 15, 5 around Luna Park to 25 then should have left 6 out. Collected all the western controls except 8 and got away from Mounty crossing a major road, whilst he got there first I had momentum to slip between two cars and when I turned around later I had gapped him nearly 200m. Got 22 then stuffed around looking for a track going up to 29 and Mounty caught back up. Got 13, 10, 19, 28 which didn't realise till after that it was not a good order to do them. I then took a wrong direction out of 28 and Mounty got ahead, he then went for 4 which I left out and I finished on my collecting all the south-east controls.

Finished 1.30 over and left 5 x 10 pointers out for 530, 20 points ahead of Adrian White.
