Not a good day out. Hamstrings and lower back really sore. Also didn't see the water's edge route from 18 to 29 then completely went the wrong direction trying to get back in time from 16 to 6. Ended up with 550 points, behind Richard Green/Adam Potter 570.

Easy long run around Cremorne Point, Bradleys Head, Balmoral Beach and back to Crows Nest. Struggled a little and legs tired.

Tunks Park loop with Amy. Hamstrings have been really sore the past few weeks. Never had that before.

Good course mostly within the hospital buildings. Ran well for most of the course, except a slight hesitation at no.1 being so short then lost 30 secs on no.19. Saw someone exiting 18 so I stupidly did the same not realising there was no way through the buildings. So had to backtrack around 18 to get to 19. Most of the competition was down at Sprint Canberra so was well ahead today.

Did 9 x 1km reps with 1km recoveries on bush tracks, parkland and streets around Balls Head, Berry Island, Mann Point and Greenwich. All between 3.45 and 4.21.
