Sledge Day 3. Clearly not in contention for overall honours my hope was to hang onto the green boxers. 3 days, 3 wins in the sprint. Without sounding too cocksure, given I was only 1second off fastest time on day one out of every category, and the fastest on day 2, I was confident on day 3 and was again fastest competitor in the comp so the green boxers in the sledge were a good reward!
Control 1, just off line a touch. Long leg to 2, my route selection was cautious and slow but I was in the right place! Solid without being spectacular the rest of the way around. Wasn't too far off the winner all things considered. Total covered 8.3kms.

Sledge day 2. Not quite so great a run. Shouldn't have relaxed I guess. Good to 1, then disaster to 2. Went down spur and drifted slightly south. Wandered around making features fit map - enough said. 3 fine. Then 4 the long leg. Couldn't find what was meant to be an obvious track. Relocated and the rest of the leg I was really happy with. Rest of the way was good but you can't make 2 15min mistakes. Had enough left in the legs to smoke the finish shute and retain the green boxers. Covered a total of 8.8kms.

Sledge Day 1. Mass start. Awesome fun. Packs formed and broke all day and we all led each other into various controls. Made a small mistake at 4 and 11 but otherwise clean. My only hope of a pair of boxers at sledge is in the finish shute and day 1 was no exception. Picked up the green boxers with the aim of holding onto them for the whole carnival. Let's see what happens! Covered 6.03kms total.

Didn't enter the prologue as knew I was driving. Looked like a great course and was envious of the good runs everyone were having.

James had footy then off to airport for trip to Easter at Lithgow via a night in Sydney.

The BOM said 10C this morn but it felt cooler. Ride was nice with the moon setting in the west again although not as spectacular as yesterday.

More walk than jog as hammy was a bit tight and don't want to overdo it ahead of easter. Moon set in the west was spectacular.

Slow jog home. Stopped at Nth Adel Uni loop where the orienteers were gathered for a Tuesday run. I kept going as was picking up J from footy training. Hammy was tight but after the day I had I wasn't surprised. A little later the partial lunar eclipse was amazing.
