Orienteering (Georges Heights. Xmas 1) 34:22 [5] 4.49 km (7:39 / km)
shoes: New Balance

Great to run on a new area, not so great get distracted and forget to take glasses with me. Running was moderate but I just struggled with the detail. Couple of stupid mistakes as always although none worse than 1 where I misread control number (note lack of glasses) and confused myself. Ended up running approx 6kms...

Kicking the footy (Picken Oval) 1:15:00 [3]
shoes: New Balance

Went for a run to Picken Oval with the boys and kicked the footy. It was 2.5kms each way. It was also hot and humid and the grass was long. Good fun tho.

Kicking the footy (Nth Adel) 1:00:00 [4]
shoes: New Balance

2nd training session for SIC senior footy at the uni loop. Took the boys on a 2km time trial and they were impressive with the slowest being an 8.15 time of the 11 starters this week. I paced the first 1km for them in 3.20 and then brought the tail of the field home to make sure they all didn't walk when behind the hedge. Then some general ball work on a very warm afternoon where the skills gradually improved and they showed some confidence in their ability which was a nice change from last season.

Orienteering Training (Nth Adel) 29:00 [5] 5.5 km (5:16 / km)
shoes: New Balance

Used the permanent course and set a point score scatter handicap event as a bit of fun before brekkie back at ours. Good turn up but the highlight was the swim after. That and bacon, pancakes and maple syrup.
