Headed towards braids, fell over in the mud in blackford and the weather was ruining my spirit so changed plan a little, diverted towards the canal cruised into town then just totted the time up to 90 with some loops around the centre.

Easy round the seat, then a lap of the meadows.

Thursday Mar 7 #

Run to and from FTWN

Orienteering 40:23 [3] 5.87 km (6:53 / km)

FTWN Whinny Hill, went off with the mass start, stayed with the back of the front group until the end of the first gaffle and then blew number 5, mainly on my own from here, though regrouped with a few failing to find number 12. Pretty tricky this at night.

Tuesday Mar 5 #

Headed down for intervals on the meadows, first session in over three months so wasn't expecting a lot. 5 x 1k with 2min rest. The rest of the chaps were a mile ahead on the first, a couple started to come back on the second and third. A load dropped out after the 3rd which made me feel a little better about the pace, or lack of on the 1st, and struggled through the 4th and 5th. All in all just very happy to be back running.
