one of the worst and toughest races in a long time. 6.4 km but it was all through thick woods. It was really windy and as you ran trees would be falling down around you. scary... Besides that i made many orienteering mistakes ~at least 15min.

i've decided to log my training again, now that the ski season and fall orienteering has started. I stopped logging over the summer and it would be impossible to figure out all the times etc. of all the races and runs i' did.

I don't know what is but last week and this week, for the first few km's of my orienteering races i've felt really bad while running. I'm getting cramps and just a lack of energy or something. It only seems to go away around half way through the race. In addition, this race was really tough physically. I made a bad route choice through the really high grass to 3, which was much slower than running around on a trail. Then the rest of the race was through this high grass, which is extremely tiring to run through and it killed your legs. I made 2 or 3 small orienteering mistakes as well but i think the hardest part of the race was just the running.
